Standing in six acres, Les Ballastières has a large courtyard with secure parking, large garden and the River Ternoise bordering the field. The river is home to kingfishers and waterfowl and in our garden and the fields around we see a wide range of wildlife, including deer, hares, quail, buzzards and lots more.
The guest rooms are in a separate part of the farmhouse, yet attached. No need to cross the courtyard for breakfast! We offer two ensuite double/family rooms and two twin/double rooms.
Also available for longer stays on bed & breakfast terms is our studio, The Old Forge. The old forge at Les Ballastières has been converted into a studio/apartment and is wheelchair-friendly. It is also available on a self-catering basis.
We offer a choice of holiday self-catering accommodation:
The old forge at Les Ballastières has been converted into bed and breakfast or self-catering accommodation. It is also suitable for people in wheelchairs.
One of the old stables has been converted to offer holiday accommodation for 2 – 5 people.
The old hayloft at Les Ballastières has been converted into ‘indoor camping’ – and you don’t have to go outside to get to the showers and toilets!
– A large Games Room in the old cowshed is open to all our guests. As well as various bar games, there are also books, board and outdoor games for times when you just want to laze around Les Ballastières.
– A BBQ area in the courtyard is available for all our guests.
– A packed lunch can be provided for a small supplement.
Please let us know at the time of booking if you might require this during your stay.
– Free WiFi.
– Bicycles (pedal power!) also available.
– Quad track nearby.
